Description

SOLICITATION FOR PCP REAGENTS FOR BASE YEAR AND 4 OPTION YEARS. PSA-14-R-00103 PCP REAGENTS FOR THE PRETRIAL SERVICES AGENCY FOR DC (PSA) (SOLICITATION ATTACHED) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information contained in this notice. The Solicitation PSA-14-R-00103 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia in Washington Pretrial Services Agency's Office of Forensic Toxicology Services (OFTS) performs urine drug testing for all defendants, adult and juvenile, in pretrial status, Drug Court, offenders on Probation or Parole, parents charged with abuse or neglect, and other tests as ordered by the courts. Reagents for Phencyclidine (PCP) are being bid in this solicitation. Testing will be performed on instrumentation provided by the government This document provides information necessary to assist in the procurement of a new immunoassay reagent contract for the OFTS drug testing operation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 and the applicable size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is unrestricted, allowing both large and small business to submit quotations./This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses. This procurement is being conducted under the FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Parts 12 and 13 or some combination thereof. The Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia is federally-funded investigation and supervision agency for defendants who are released into the community while awaiting disposition of their case(s) in both the D.C. Superior Court and U.S. District Court. Pretrial Services is an independent entity under the umbrella of the Court Services and Offender Supervisor Agency (CSOSA).
