Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a bench top Dissolution Tester, installation, one (1) day onsite training, and four, one year option years for annual preventative maintenance. This is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please note that this requirement is subject to the availability of funds. a. Solicitation Number 1135225 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). b. Provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76, effective 25 July 2014 c. This procurement is a brand name or equal requirement, associated with NAICS Code 334516 and small business size employees 500. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business concerns. d. Item Description: Brand Name or Equal to the Hanson Vision G2 Elite 8 Dissolution Tester, model# 74101008. The dissolution tester shall be able to communicate with the existing Waters HPLC 2695D. The system must be a bench top system with heated water bath and contain > 8 position vessel plate. Must include one (1) head with > precision drive spindles and capacity to program at least 50 protocols. The probe assembly shall house sample probes for precision sampling. The system shall come equipped with a dissolution media preparation system for delivering pre-heated, filtered, and de-aerated media to dissolution vessels. e. Deliverables: Dissolution Tester Sampling probes for 1-liter and small volume Spin Paddles USP Vessels USP Glass for 1-liter Vessel covers Drain hose and drain hose kit Tubing harness Communication and LAN cables Ethernet network switch (5-port, 10/100 Mbps) Apparatus trays (1L and 2L) Tank, heater and control Spin-Basket Shaft USP Basket USP Dissolution Media Preparation System Automag Assembly for 1-liter f. FAR Provision 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items) (APR 2014) applies to this acquisition. Para (k) requires current registration in SAM at https://www.sam.gov. g. FAR Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items (JAN 1999) applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Offeror whose quote provides sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the solicitation It is the responsibility of all interested offerors to review this site frequently for any updates/ amendments that may occur during the solicitation process. The posting of this requirement does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The Government reserves the right to cancel this procurement/ solicitation either before or after the solicitation closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
