- Description
- The objective of the InTop LowRIDR System is to reduce the number of dedicated antennas and electronic systems utilized for Communications (Comms), Information Operations (IO) and Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF) in the HF through C band regions of the spectrum by consolidating these functions into a common set of shared antennas and processing equipment wherever possible/practical. The purpose is to improve the overall performance of these systems by reducing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) issues and allow more flexibility in the placement of the antennas on Naval platforms.
