Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to enter into a purchase agreement with Mizuho Ortho System Incorporated, 30031 Ahern Avenue, Union City 94587-1234. Mizuho Ortho Sys Inc. is the sole manufacture of Patient Helper a patient assistant device for Hill-Rom's Versacare beds. This agreement is a onetime purchase for 42 patient helpers. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113. Any interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement and furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the product. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 12 pm EST. Information should be sent to Chantel Simmons Contract Specialist at chantel.simmons@va.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The requirement has been placed on eBUY and has received no bids or offers. If no responses are received by the response date the Department of Veterans Affairs will proceed with the intended agreement. All questions concerning this requirement must be in writing and submitted via email to chantel.simmons@va.gov.
