Description
The Embassy of the United States in Moscow, Russian Federation will issue a solicitation for local transportation services for its diplomatic pouch bag and mail shipments to and from the international airports located in Moscow, Russia. This is an indefinite-quantity contract for the services specified and effective for the period stated in the Schedule. For each year of the contract, the U.S. Government guarantees a minimum shipment of 62,500 kilograms of Outbound pouch shipments from the U.S. Embassy Moscow located at: Bolshoy Devyatinsky Pereulok No. 8., Moscow, Russia to the Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., and a minimum of 125,000 kilograms of shipments. The maximum amount of outgoing and inbound diplomatic pouch shipments for each year of this contract is not expected to exceed 270,000 kilograms. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forthcoming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. The contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel to accomplish all work required. All airport ground support and fees or charges as well as local customs charges will be included into the price proposal. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation during the month of August 2014.
