Description
The VA Network Contract Office 22, Long Beach, California intends to award a firm fixed price small business set-aside contract. The NAICS Codes is 541330 and the small business size standard is $14.0 Mil. The requirement is for one month. The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System has requirement for preventative maintenance and repair maintenance on the Main and Emergency Switch Gears components to be serviced are the following: Contractor shall perform electrical testing on 4160 transformers/circuit breakers by performing transformer turns ratio test (TTR) and hipot testing, all 480V circuit breakers, cleaning and lubrication, tightening all bussing and breaker connections, calibration and testing for correct voltage within GE relays. This is for the VA Hospitals West Los Angeles, Sepulveda and Downtown Los Angeles Clinic locations: VA Hospital West Los Angeles has 4 buildings, 501, 299, 304 and 500; VA Hospital Sepulveda has 2 substations locations; Veterans outpatient clinic, Downtown Los Angeles, 1 substation Further requirement is for the performance of electrical substation maintenance and testing. Testing shall conform to NETA standards. The testing shall consist of cleaning, lubricating and calibrating circuit breakers, protective relays and any associated distribution equipment, including cleaning of all de-energized components, compartments, surfaces of the switchgear and related equipment. Records of the "as found" and the "as left" condition shall be provided in a binder. Three (3) copies of the test reports shall be provided to the foreman of the electric shop with in 30 calendar days of the completion of the testing. A summary of deficiencies and recommendations shall be included with the test report. The period of performance will be for one month. The Solicitation shall be issued on or about August 22, 2012 with offeror's due on or about September 5, 2014
