- Description
- This contract provides for development of the Coherent Network-Centric Spectrum Attack simulations and new and novel algorithms integrated onto existing hardware to be used to demonstrate a coordinated capability between several physically-dispersed tightly-coupled Electronic Attack (EA) assets. The outcomes to be achieved are research, development, prototyping, engineering test, and system analysis and demonstration software for the AEA Division Advance Technology Group in support of the list below. • Knowledge Product - Application and selective tailoring of existing cognitive agents, and participation with NAWCWD technology partners in the development of adaptive EW reasoning software agents providing command & control (C2), adaptable mission prioritization, real-time SA, target ambiguous resolution/classification algorithms, target/spectrum de-confliction, and real-time EA mission effectiveness optimization. Initial development assumes scripted (non-cognitive) EA tactics under the ONR effort. This will expand to include cognitive agents under the FNC portion of the project. • Universal Control Module -Open architecture net-enabled modular hardware payload design providing rapid technology insertion with dynamic reprogramming and upgrading capabilities utilizing Government owned interfaces and standards. The contractor will utilize an existing L-3-owned programmable hardware as the Universal Control Module for this effort. • Net-Centric Coordination Waveform - Real-time coordination and synchronization waveform used to provide a distributed, collaborative mechanism to exchange threat information and distribute attack plans. • Advance Signal Analysis and Electronic Attack techniques - Support NAWCWD to define and advance algorithms to extract information about the radar pulse including pulse width, repetition time, operating frequency, Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) type EA techniques and an emitter localization algorithm based on time-difference of arrival (TDOA) measurements.
