- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis a MIDAC Replacement for Spectrometer SN43 (SH10) - 1 Each from the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Micro Engineering Software & Hardware (MESH), 114 Barnsley Road, Oxford, Pennsylvania 19363. MESH does not have any authorized resellers capable of providing the required equipment to the government. Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. DFAR 252.211-7003 (Item Identification and Valuation) is applicable to this order. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in SAM. Offerors may obtain information on registration in the SAM by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 20 August 2014, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 30 September 2014. Quotes may be submitted by Email in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to doritha.newman@navy.mil or by Fax to: 540-653-0592.
