Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Item #1 Office Furniture Contact Information James Rawlings Contract Specialist USPFO, Colorado (720) 847-8677 James.s.rawlings.ctr@mail.mil This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, and supplemental information included in this notice. The Colorado National Guard will be awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74 Effective on May 30, 2014. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARS) can be accessed on the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The COARNG is looking to purchase office furniture for the CFMO office at the Joint Forces Headquarters location. Please see attached SOW for additional details including brand name items described. This is a brand name solicitation. Any other products quoted that do not meet the brand name items described will not be accepted. See attached J&A for additional details concerning the brand name justification. Items will be evaluated based on brand name, functionality & warranty information. Partial quotes will not be accepted. Quotes must contain delivery and install pricing. An award will be made based on lowest price technically acceptable. See attached SOW and Bill of materials for the complete list of furniture being requested. Delivery and install will consist of the teardown and movement of existing furniture to the adjacent building. Existing furniture consists of 11 private offices, 2 conference tables, up to 35 task chairs and misc file cabinets and bookshelves. After the construction is completed all of the above referenced furniture will need to be reassembled and placed back in the building with the new furniture. Additional details will be provided to any and all interested vendors regarding the existing furniture. The successful offeror must be able to execute the teardown of existing furniture on September 2nd or 3rd. Quotes shall reference Solicitation #W912LC-14-T-0236. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337214. This solicitation will end on August 27, 2014 1200 EST. Quotes received after this time will not be accepted. The government will review each contractor's capability to determine which contractor is best suited to meet the Government's needs.
