- This is a market survey concerning the acquisition of various Cobham (Continental Microwave) parts for the refurbishment of the ARSR-4 rotary couplers. The FAA refurbishes the rotary couplers in-house and is in need of the following parts: Part Number 21337A, Coupler, Rotary Part Number 21336/1, R/J L-Band Beacon Part Number 17001-531G1, Choke Assembly Part Number 17001-21G1, Center Cond. Assembly Part Number 17001-18G1, Journal Housing Assembly Part Number 17001-25, Clamp Part Number 17000-37G1, Transition End Part Number 21337/1, R/J L-Band Beacon At this time, Cobham (Continental Microwave) is the only known source for procurement of these items. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the various Cobham parts in accordance with the above part numbers. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of your SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Capability of providing the Cobham parts Number of years in business Please respond by reviewing the specifications as listed above and submit a filled-out and signed copy of the Business Declaration form and your company ™s Capability Statement (please submit electronically, email to address below). All responses to this market survey must be received by Tuesday, August 19, 2014, 5:00 CST (Oklahoma Time).
