Description
1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no further written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number FA8307-14-Q-0230 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic Cyber and Systems Division's Contracting Office (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Lackland TX, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures resulting from this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) DPN 20140805. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation may be obtained in full text form located at FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. 2. This requirement is open to all offerors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334118 - Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing. The size standard is 1,000 employees IAW FAR 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations (Apr 2012). 3. The US Air Force is looking to acquire a ProJet 5000 3D Printer. This is a brand name or equivalent requirement. The MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS ARE: 1. Minimum 3700 cubic inches build volume 2. Layer resolution of 0.0011 inches 3. Capable of printing files in the.STL,.SLC formats 4. XY resolution must be at least 750 x 750 dpi (in highest definition mode) 5. Must operate on 120V AC power 6. Must include warranty on parts and labor, to include print head 4. Delivery will be FOB to AFLCMC/HNCCI, 240 Hall Blvd STE 115, Bldg. 2081, JBSA-Lackland TX, 78243-7052. Inspection/acceptance will be made at destination. Delivery is requested 30 days after award. Interested offerors must submit their representations and certifications in accordance with the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Item, with their quote. 5. The Government will award a single purchase order resulting from this RFQ in accordance with the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value in terms of technical capability/acceptability, price, and delivery schedule.
