- Restore the two drainage swales on the west part of the site drainage swales. Total lenght is 1,500 LF. Remove silt and sediment, approximately 2" wide and 6" deep along the lenght of the swales. Maintain a consistent slope so the swales drain properly. also clean approximately 1,000 LF underground storm drain; remove slit, sediment, debri, vegetation and other obstruction that prevent proper drainage. In addition, provide a total of three new 12" diameter nyloplast in-line drains ( http://www.ads-pipe.com/pdf/en/NP109-2A_0507.pdf ) and 6' diameter undergound polyethylene pipe (approximately 90 LF total) to the closet existing site area drain. Install two drains on either side of the sidewalk between the north wingsof Dormitory Building 6. Install one drain in the grass area southwest of Recreation/Gymnasium Building 3, adjacent to the sidewalk. Exacavate a trench, with a positive slope, to route the pipe to the existing site area drains. Provide a gravel base under the new pipe and backfill the trench after the pipe is installed. If routhing through an exisiting sidewalk is required, saw cut and remove a portion of the exisiting sidewalk large enough to install the pipe. Once the pipe installation is complete backfill and re-pour the sidewalk.
