Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Metro Medical Equipment & Supply. The statutory authority for this acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Erbe Electrosurgical Unit is available from only one source. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334510 with a size standard of 500 Employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the point of contact below no later than 07:00 A.M., (EST) on 15 Aug 2014. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government
