Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire, on an other than full and open competitive basis from Ritter Communications (Millington CATV) cable TV services to the BUPERS/Navy Personnel Command buildings. This instant requirement requires cable connections for 24 locations within six Navy Personnel Command buildings in Millington, TN. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, the Government will consider all responses stating their capability received before 4PM on Monday 15 August 2014 EST. A determination of the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Price type order to commence on 01 October 2014 through 30 September 2015 with four (4) option periods.
