Description

FA8224-14-R-0149 Solicitation 309th SMXG/ 520SMXS/MXDEA/ PZIMC intends to issue a sole source contract to purchase all software, instructions, and licenses to the contractor (Atego) which will provide Atego Apex/Ada Developer Enterprise software and licenses. The 520th Software Maintenance Squadron (SMXS) has been tasked with future maintenance of the Battle Control System - Fixed (BCS-F) in setting up an Integrated Test Facility (ITF) at Hill AFB to test future software builds prior to deployment to the field. Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to the contractor (Atego) which will provide Atego Apex/Ada Developer Enterprise software and licenses, contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation will posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation number fa8224-14-r-0149. This requirement is considered sole source due to the ITF needs to be identical to a functioning BCS-F (noun: AN/FYQ-156) Air Defense Sector (ADS) to insure proper testing of the system software. The NAICScode for this requirement is 511210 (Software Publishers) with a small business size standard of $25.5 million. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and all other interested contractors shall submit a capabilities document which states their abilities on fulfilling this requirement. Responses should be submitted by 4:00 pm MST on Aug 25, 2014.
