- Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation Request For Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format of FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued for the solicitation number NIAID-RFQ-14B-1692610. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC2005-76 dated July 25, 2014. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219, which has a size standard of 500. The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH/NIAID) has a request for a MAINTENANCE SERVICE AGREEMENT for the Biacore T200 Analyzer. The Period of Performance will be one year (Base 9/1/14 – 8/31/15) plus four (4) option years. Option Periods may be exercised in one-year increments extending four years from award as stated below Periods of performance for Option Year contract: Base Year (9/1/2014-8/31/2015) Option year 1 (9/1/2015-8/31/2016) Option year 2 (9/1/2016-8/31/2017) Option year 3 (9/1/2017-8/31/2018) Option year 4 (9/1/2018-8/31/2019) See Statement of Work Attached The vendors shall provide certification from original equipment manufacturer that they are authorized to perform this task and have access to OEM parts and supplies. All responsible sources may submit a response that will be considered. The following factors shall be/used to evaluate offers (such as technical capability to meet required specifications: 1) Technical capability to meet required specifications 2) Price 3) Warranty The FOB point shall be Destination. This will be a firm-fixed price contract.
