- YTL-602 and YTB-771 Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N62786-14-T-0002 applies. Proposals must be received by 12:00 p.m. EST on Monday, September 15, 2014 to be considered. The RFQ-incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-66 and DFARS Publication Notice (DPN) 20130328. Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Bath, Maine intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with FAR 13.302. This requirement is set-aside for all categories of small business to include 8(a), HUBZone, Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned Small Business, etc., and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The proposed acquisition is being processed utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures on a competitive basis. It is anticipated that award will take place on or before September 30, 2014. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336611 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
