- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the FAR Part 13.5, quote mark Test Program for Certain Commercial Items quote mark,, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Arlington National Cemetery has a requirement for 2,000 Urn Grave Liners per year for a base and four 12-month option periods. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract based on the offeror whose offer is in compliance with the attached Statement of Work specifications, and provides the total lowest price for one base year and four (4) 12 month option periods. Upon Government written delivery request, the selected vendor shall deliver the requested amount of Concrete Urn Liners within 72 hours. The Government delivery request shall not to exceed 4 requests per month and 75 Urn liners per request. Urn Liners Delivery shall not to exceed each contract CLIN total quantity. Offerors shall provide a breakdown of cost by itemizing the cost per unit and the total cost in the attached CLIN structure. The Statement of Work and Pricing Schedule will be uploaded under a separate attachment. The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base year of 12 months and four (4) 12- month options periods. The period of performance are anticipated to be: Base Period 09 September 2014 - 08 September 2015 Option Period One 09 September 2015 - 08 September 2016 Option Period Two 09 September 2016 - 08 September 2017 Option Period Three 09 September 2017 - 08 September 2018 Option Period Four 09 September 2018 - 08 September 2019 The contract option period of performance will be exercised in accordance with the FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (March 2000)-The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 60 months.
