- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR SOLICITATION W91ZLK-14-R-0015 FACILITY & LOGISTIC SUPPORT EDGEWOOD AREA, ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND QUESTIONS 1-8: RECEIVED VIA EMAIL ON 8-12-2014 AT 4:23 PM Question 1: Para 1 General: indicates that that the Contractor must meet the requirements in 1-2 days, however the QASP suggests a BPA call & response process, including quoting and schedule submittal and coordination with the quote mark school's quote mark engineering director. Could the government please clarify the requirement? Answer 1: The intent is to obtain an initial response regarding the initial request within 1-2 days. We realize that all requirements can't be met within 1-2 days. Question 2: Is there an estimated workload? Answer 2: No...Work load is based on mission requirements. Question 3: Is there any sense as to how many full time persons perform this work now, by type of work? Answer 3: We don't require a full time person. However, we do expect that the contractor will have sufficient manpower to meet our request/requirements. Question 4: How many BPA awards are anticipated? Answer 4: Requirements are based on an (as needed basis). Question 5: Will this be the only support contract for facility and logistics support at Edgewood Area, APG? Answer 5: This BPA is exclusively for JPEO-CBD. Question 6: Is there an opportunity to learn of upcoming / planned work in longer timeframes than 1-2 days? Answer 6: Yes. Question 7: Will the government provide an extension to the due date? Answer 7: Some dates are flexible especially where unforeseen site conditions arise. Question 8: How many ordering entities/QASP POC's are anticipated? Is there workload data per ordering entity? Answer 8: The Government is unable make an accurate determination of workload; the BPA has a maximum funded amount for calls per year.
