- Statement of Work Section 1: General guidelines provided are to determine the customers and contractors responsibility. All sections and sub sections are to be followed by both parties involved. 1.1: The contracting Officer (KO) is the approving authority. No changes, modifications, or variations to this scope of work (SOW) will be made without written permission from the contracting officer. 1.2: The contracting officer's technical representative (COTR) will be designated in writing by the contracting officer. The COTR will be responsible for all contractor oversight, daily work progress, and to ensure that the project is done on time, to government satisfaction, and safely. 1.3: The COTR is responsible for all inspections during the contracting phase and will ensure that all progress will pass inspection prior to moving forward with progressing work. 1.4: Contractor furnished supplies: Contractor will supply all materials, supplies, equipment, and safety equipment needed to complete this SOW. 1.5: All federal state and local regulations will be adhered to by the contractor. If for any reason there is uncertainty or dispute. The COTR is to refer back to the sector facilities engineer for final guidance. 1.6: For any contracting or work related disputes the COTR is to refer back to the KO for final guidance. Section 2: Scope of work 2.1: Chiller: Furnish the following: • Scroll Compressor • Condenser fan Motor o • Condenser fan blade o Recover refrigerant from compressor 1 & 3 o Repair leak on compressor 1 suction line connection to compressor o Remove and dispose of compressor 3 o Install new compressor o Replace circuit 1 liquid line drier cores o Leak test and evacuate compressors 1 & 3 o Install new fan motor and blade (M12) o Clean condenser coils o Leak test entire machine o Check all electrical connections o Clean all electrical enclosures o Calibrate all unit sensors and transducers o Place unit in service and check operation o Trim circuit 1 refrigerant charge as needed o Complete operating log 2.2: Chilled Water Pump: • Furnish the following: • 5 H.P. motor o Coupling element o Install new motor and align to pump o Lubricate pump bearings o Place new motor in service and test operation o Complete operating log. 2.3: Air Handler Unit (AHU) 1: • Furnish and install new return air temperature controller • Calibrate and test operation 2.4: Air Handler Unit (AHU) 3: • Furnish the following: • (2) Temperature controllers - Hot Deck and Cold Deck • (2) Valve actuators - Chilled Water and Hot Water o Install (2) new controllers and (2) new valve actuators o Calibrate and test operation 2.5: Air Handler Unit (AHU) 4 • Furnish the following: • (2) Temperature controllers - Hot Deck and Cold Deck • (2) Valve actuators - Chilled Water and Hot Water o Install (2) new controllers and (2) new valve actuators o Calibrate and test operation • 2.6: Dining Area: • Furnish the following: • (1) Temperature controller • (1) Damper Actuator • Install new temperature controller and associated damper actuator • Calibrate and test operation 2.7: Command Office: • Furnish the following: • (1) Temperature controller • (1) Damper Actuator • Install new temperature controller and associated damper actuator • Calibrate and test operation Section 3: Contractor supplied materials, hardware, and safety oversight: This section is to outline materials and hardware that is to be replaced on the flooring job. The materials outlined are not all inclusive and may not include any unforeseen parts that may need replacing. This section will also discuss some of the potential safety items that may need to be addressed by the contractor. The COTR has the authority to stop work if unsafe work conditions exist. 3.1: The contractor is to provide all safety equipment as well adhere to all federal, state, and local codes regarding the use of such equipment. 3.3: The contractor will provide to the COTR any/all MSDS for any hazardous material that are brought on board Coast Guard property. The contractor will notify the COTR of the use of such hazardous materials and will follow manufacture regulations for the use of such products. Section 4: Clean up 4.1: The contractor is required to clean up all debris, trash at the close of business every day and dispose of properly. 4.2: All HAZMAT will be disposed of IAW Federal, state, and local laws and disposed of with regards to those laws. 4.3: The contractor will remove from federal property any rented or owned equipment that the contractor brought with them at the completion of the project. The contractor is allowed to store such equipment at the work site provided they have approval from the COTR.
