- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Solid Waste Removal for the Federal Correctional Institution located in Otisville, New York. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed prices. The contract shall consist of a base year from December 1, 2014 through November 30, 2015 and four 12-month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The estimated contract requirement for the base year is to provide rental and disposal of one 30-yard container, one 30-yard compactor, one 10-yard container and one 6-yard compactor. The solicitation will be available on or about August 14, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about September 17, 2014. The solicitation is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 562111 with a size standard of $35.5 million. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible companies may submit a quote.
