- SITE VISIT NOTICE A site visit will be conducted on August 18,2014 @ 9:00AM (Monday) LOCATION: Bldg. 3835 57th St. Edgewood, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD No badge required just drivers license & vehicle permit to get a visitors pass. POC: Derrell Menking (410) 436-5914 Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-73.The synopsis/ solicitation number is W91ZLK-14-T-0614. This requirement is for 100% Total Small Business set aside NAICS code 811219.The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract for one year. Description of Requirement: The intent of this contract is to provide preventative maintenance and calibration to various laboratory equipments listed in attachments A, B, & C. 1.Background: This contract shall include services to the following equipment (see Appendices). All services of the equipment shall be performed at Edgewood Area Aberdeen Proving Grounds MD 21010. 2.Scope: 2.1.The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance (including parts, labor and travel) on the mechanical parts/firmware and software listed on Attachment A. 2.2.The contractor shall provide calibration on the mechanical parts/firmware and software listed on Attachment B. 2.3. The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance (including parts, labor and travel) on the mechanical parts/firmware for Forma incubators as listed in Appendix C. 3.Requirements:The equipment shall be serviced annually under this one year service agreement. 3.1.Attachment A PM will include software documentation updates (including diagnostic software), telephone assistance and support, latest system and programming manuals, shipping and media costs. Instrumentation updates of a safety enhancement nature shall be performed automatically and shall be provided at no additional cost. Software and applications support including training and troubleshooting will be provided at no additional cost. 3.2.Attachment B calibration will includes labor, travel times and expenses on calibration services and documentation and certification to standards. This will include software documentation updates (including diagnostic software), telephone assistance and support, latest system and programming manuals, shipping and media costs.Instrumentation updates of a safety enhancement nature shall be performed automatically and shall be provided at no additional cost. Software and applications support including training and troubleshooting will be provided at no additional cost. All contractor personnel shall be manufacturer trained and certified annually to maintain the instruments prior to rendering any service under the terms of the contract. Calibration and repair service shall adhere to International Organization for Standards (ISO) 10012-1 American National Standards Institute (ANSI). 3.3.The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance on the mechanical parts/firmware for Forma incubators and notify the COR of any requisite repairs. 3.4.Deliverables and Delivery Schedule: PM and calibration reports will be provided to the COR after the work is completed along with notification of requisite repairs. 4.Place of Performance 4.1.Maintenance shall be performed in Bldg E3835 on Edgewood Area Aberdeen Proving Grounds MD 21010. 5.Period of Performance 5.1.The period of performance shall be 365 calendar days after TO award. 6.Security 6.1.The services required are UNCLASSIFIED.
