Description: This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A Formal Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Commercial Items is attached to this Combined Synopsis / Solicitation. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set A-Side with a NAICS Code of 334511. Description of Requested Items: Supply a multi-beam echo-sounder system suitable for shallow water surveying including mounting bracket and online sound velocity probe as per the specifications contained in the RFQ. The multi-beam echo-sounder system shall have the following performance specifications, equal or better than an R2SONIC 2020 Wideband Multi-Beam Echo-Sounder System. The system must be compatible with an existing Applanix MV 320 POS, existing HYPACK data collection software, and existing single personal computer (PC) on the survey vessel. The basis for the award will be a lowest price/technically acceptable.
