- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The 409th CSB, RCO Stuttgart anticipates a requirement for the USAG-Stuttgart Garrison for restaurant kitchen equipment to support four locations. 1. Kelley Barracks German Cantina with 1 x Freezer, 1 x Ice Dispenser, and 2 x Self Serve Sandwich Bars; 2. Robinson Barracks Bldg 151 with removal and disposal of existing equipment and installation of an automated dishwasher with SS work surface, sink and pre-wash; 3. Panzer Kaserne 5 x Freezers; 4. Patch Barracks with 1 x Ice Dispenser. Delivery, setup, and test will be included. Existing equipment will be removed by the contractor and placed in a location to be determined outside the building. Delivery and installation will be made to the respective facilities mentioned above. Anticipated delivery date will be within 45 days of award. Anticipated award date is 30 September 2014. This is an unrestricted full and open competitive acquisition. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This will likely be a brand name or equal requirement as follows: Freezers True T-49F, Ice Dispenser Manitowac SFA-291, and Dishwasher Hobart AMXX. Solicitation No: W91WFU-14-T-0020 will be issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 423440. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov to be eligible for award to include German vendors. Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF to include German vendors, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. Information concerning this solicitation will be issued electronically and posted on or about 15 Aug 2014 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON.
