- Clauses Statement of Work MEMC This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is 72642-P14 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the following requirement, the development of methods to investigate the Middle Ear Muscle Contraction (MEMC) to assess the timing of the change in the status of the MEMC using the Wide Band Reflectance system. The Contractor will provide NIOSH with the Manual of Procedures (MOP) for the projects addressing the research question above. The MOP will contain background, a description of the experimental design and analysis methods, Pilot data sufficient to condfirm that the procedures yield usable data will be provided. The MOP will then be used to conduct the MEMC research.
