- Statement of Work This is a Brand Name Only Requirement (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, SB1341-14-RQ-0604 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. (iv) This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. NAICS Code:561621 with a Size Standard of $12.5 Million. (v) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following commercial item(s): CLIN 0001: Part #: RSA-80010510 Unit of Issue: EA Quantity: 4 RSA SecurID AM8 Appliance 250 hardware including software support and advanced hardware with a three (3) year warranty. (vi) Description of Requirements: See attached document titled: Statement of Work (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, does apply to this acquisition. (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements of the solicitation. (b) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. (x) The offeror must have completed the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) which is the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. Reps and certs must be uploaded to the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov. (xi) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are b(2), b(4), b(6), b(7),b(8), b(12)(i), b(16), b(17), b(26), b(27), b(28), b(29), b(30), b(31), b(32), b(33), b(34), b(38), b(42), b(48).
