- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Strategic Materials has determined that a portion of the National Defense Stockpile (NDS) Beryllium metal in the form of HPP billets, does not meet current specifications for many modern Department of Defense (DoD) applications. DLA Strategic Materials is seeking offers from manufacturers that rotate billets of Hot Pressed Powder (HPP) Beryllium metal into structural-grade Beryllium powder.
