Formal RFQ Cutsheet (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13 using the format found at FAR Subpart 12.6 - Streamlined Procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Stirling Ultracold freezers utilize a new green technology that provides ultra-cold temperatures to store research and surveillance samples while using 40% of the energy of a typical ultra-cold compressor driven unit. These units also produce much less heat which in turn saves on the needed energy to cool the areas that house these freezers by the HVAC systems.
