- Industry Day Announcement Program: T-1A Ground Based Training System (GBTS) Program Subject: Industry Days, 26-27 August 2014 The T-1A GBTS program will be hosting Industry Days on 26-27 August 2014 at Building 738, Room 101, Randolph AFB, TX. There will be a program overview and a group tour of the Operation Flight Trainers (OFTs), Maintenance/Repair area, and Training Software Support Center (TSSC). 1. Up to 4 attendees per vendor may attend the T-1A GBTS/TSSC tour. 2. All questions must be submitted in writing to the point of contact below by Wednesday, 20 August 14. The T-1A GBTS follow-on acquisition for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and TSSC services will be a competitive source selection in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, as supplemented by the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS), and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS). A draft agenda will be posted at a later date, prior to 25 August 14. Industry representatives may also participate in the Industry Day via teleconference. To secure registration and access to Randolph AFB, T-1A GBTS Industry Day attendees MUST provide the following information to Mr. Jessie D. Auld, Contract Specialist, Phone: (937) 904-3871, Email: jessie.auld@us.af.mil, by Noon, 12:00 PM EST, Wednesday, 20 August 2014: · Company Name(s) · Company Address(es) · Company POC(s) · T-1A GBTS Interest (Prime, Subcontractor, etc.) o Attendee Information: § Name(s), § Attending in person or via telecom, § E-mail Address(es), § Telephone number(s), § If attendee does not have valid DoD ID card, please provide: · Full name as displayed on state issued driver's license · Date of birth · Driver's license number/State ID number/Passport number · State from which driver's license/ID is issued; Passport country. Unless you have a valid DoD ID card, entry onto Randolph AFB will be permitted through the Main Gate ONLY, located on FM 78 that intersects with Pat Booker Rd. For attendees without a valid DoD ID card, all visitors must be prepared to show a valid picture ID, proof of insurance of vehicle, or rental car agreement to proceed beyond the gate. At the conclusion of Industry Day, a list of attendees will be posted to FedBizOpps (FBO) that will identify the attending companies, companies participating by teleconference, their points of contact, and their interest as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
