Description
SOW 14SNB32_specnote This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. MARKET SURVEY - SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: The Government is issuing this sources-sought announcement as part of a market survey. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Spectrum Warfare Department, Airborne Electronic Attack Division is interested in receiving information from experienced vendors concerning the repair of an exciter / stator, Honeywell / Allied Signal P/N 1547644-1. The exciter / stator is a piece part utilized in the repair process of the Ram Air Turbine (RAT) Generator used in the ALQ-99 TJS utilized on the EA-6B and EA-18G aircraft. Please see the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for more details. All interested sources are encouraged to submit company and product literature, references, rough order magnitude estimates, production lead-times, schedule, risk, required Government Furnished Equipment / Material, and any other pertinent information for the Government's consideration. Submissions are desired by COB, 2 September 2014. Along with the Contractor's response on the repair of an exciter / stator enclosure, it is requested that Interested Contractors include the following information: points of contact, address, telephone and fax numbers, and email address. This sources sought synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. All information marked as proprietary information will be safeguarded to prevent disclosures to non-government personnel and entities. Your interest in this response is appreciated.
