- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 0010524299, and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-61. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337211. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business, and only qualified offers' may submit bids. The solicitation will start on Saturday August 16, 2014 and will end on Thursday August 28, 2014 at (3:00 pm) Eastern Time, or as otherwise posted at http://www.fbo.gov. FedBizOpps.Gov). This request is for the purchase of furniture, accessories and to install nine (9) workstations which will be set-up in two (2) rooms located in Edgewood, MD building E3330 room 67. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Specifications are listed in attachment. All interested vendors must have bids in by August 28, 2014 (3:00 p.m.) Eastern Time. *See attachment for description of products required. The lowest price technically acceptable source selection process will be followed, brand name or equal. *A site visit will be open to vendors on the following dates and times: Wednesday August 20, 2014 between the hours of 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Thursday August 21, 2014 between the hours of 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. *Security Requirements/Entry to Post Area, Building, etc: All Vendors are required to get visitor's pass at gate by presenting driver's license and vehicle registration. Vendors may be required to enter surety areas as needed.
