- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ****CHANGE: Fuel delivery date needs to change from delivery of 10 SEP (NLT noon) to 11 SEP 2014 (NLT noon). And here are answers to questions: How many tank trucks will be filled? We have 2500 GL tankers. If we receive the entire request of 7500 GL then it will take 3 - 4 depending on room for expansion. Who will climb on top of these tank trucks, what type of access is there to the top of the tank trucks? We will have Fuel Handlers on duty to help fill our tankers. What type of fill connection is on the top of the tank trucks? Open port fill. Not sure if that is correct terminology or not I know it does not take a special connector they can just dump straight in. If filling individual compartments what are the sizes of those compartments,can they be gauged or monitored during the filling process? Again we will have Soldiers in place to monitor the tanker levels.****** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a bulk fuel purchase. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912NS-14-B-6003, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The NAICS code is 424720 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. This requirement is designated as a total small business set-aside. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the System for Award Management database. Scope/Deliverables. No attachments. Provide 7,500 Gallons of Diesel #2 to be delivered to 475 South Davis, Marshall, MO on 10 September 2014. The acceptor of goods for this project will be SSG Brandon Stockwell at 660-886-3393 x13380. The fuel must be pumped into the acceptors tank trucks. These tanker trucks are loaded from the top so a pump system will be needed by the vendor and also requires a 40 foot discharge hose. 1. Project Location: 1128th Forward Support Company, 475 South Davis Street, Marshall MO 65340. 2. Delivery: NLT Noon on 10 September 2014 3. Government Furnished Equipment: NONE 4. Damage to Government Property: Any damage caused by the contractor or subcontractor to government property shall be replaced or repaired to the satisfaction of the government by the contractor at no cost to the Government. 5. Laws and Regulations: The contractor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to Federal Law, Missouri State Law, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and National Guard Bureau regulations.
