- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is W9124D-14-Q-6090 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-76. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337127 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2014-08-25 11:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Fort Bennning, GA 31905 The MICC Fort Knox requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001: Telescopic Bleachers - Name brand or equal to Irwin Telesopic Seating Company Model 4500 bleachers. 8 Rows, 1" Rise, 26" Spacinge. Panelam 5/8 Decking. Standard 11 inch deck level filler. Wall attached, pressure treated stringers. 208/230 VAC three phase IDS power system. 241-10" Infinity seat modules (18" wide seats). Seat numbers and row letters. 2 Sets of self storing end rails starting at row 3. 2 End curtaoins; 5-36"x26" permanent wheel chair spaces with access panel. One free standing scorer's table. Field notch bleachers areound 2 columns with additional column supports. (12" wide x 24" deep). Galvanized nose and rear beam. Aisles one and two are 48 inches wide with smart rail and standard steel steps including removable front step. Estimated seating for 241 people, plus five permanent wheel chair spaces. Includes delivery., 1, EA; LI 002: Installation/Labor. Contractor shall ensure prior to installation all requirements are received and approved by the US Army Marksmanship Unit. Contractor shall ensure that proposed drawings meet building and safety regulations. Contractor shall install telescopic bleachers, once approved by USAMU and other MCoE agencies as required by building codes or regulations. The Contractor shall be responsible for any disposal requirements generated with this procurment., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC Fort Knox intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC Fort Knox is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. If you have complaints about this procurement, it is preferable that you first attempt to resolve those concerns with the responsible contracting officer. The HQ AMC-Level Protest Program is intended to encourage interested parties to seek resolution of their concerns within AMC as an Alternative Dispute Resolution forum, rather than filing a protest with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) or other external forum. Contract award or performance is suspended during the protest to the same extent, and within the same time periods, as if filed at the GAO. Liability Insurance: $100,000.00 except in the states of Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming, where the coverage shall comply with state law. NOTE: In jurisdiction where all occupational diseases are not compensable under applicable law, insurance for occupational diseases shall be required under the employer?s liability section of the insurance policy. (b)Comprehensive General Liability Insurance: Bodily injury $500,000.00 per occurrence. (c)Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance: The policy covering the operation of all vehicles used in connection with this contract shall provide at least $200,000.00 per person, $500,000.00 per occurrence for bodily injury, and $20,000.00 per occurrence for property damage.
