You are invited to submit your best quotation for CNC Mill at Aviano AB, Italy. •2. Quotations are due in this office by 17:00 hrs Cental European Time on 02 Sep 2014. Quotations may be hand delivered (no receipt released), e-mailed or faxed. It is important that you cite the RFQ number in your correspondence. Any offer must be exclusive of taxes. Line Item # Item Description Quantity Total Price 0001 Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) mill with CT-style tool change grippers and Internal high-voltage non-isolated transformer for 380-480V operation. MNF: Haas PN: VF4 OR EQUAL 1 Each 0002 Additional Axis Allows the use of a fully integrated 4 th -axis rotary table or indexer for multi-sided machining. MNF: Haas PN: 4 th Axis Drive and Wiring OR EQUAL 1 Each 0003 Wireless Intuitive Probing System - Renishaw wireless tool- setting probe and Renishaw wireless work offset probe; Includes macros, spindle orientation and coordinate rotation and scaling. MNF: Haas PN: Wireless Intuitive Probing System OR EQUAL 1 Each 0004 Automatic Air Gun - This feature provides a constant air blast to the cutting tool to clear chips safely and automatically during dry machining, or toblow chips and coolant out of deep pockets. Activated by M code, the air blast can be programmed to turn on while the spindle is turning, or at the end of a cycle. MNF: Haas PN: Automatic Air Gun OR EQUAL 1 Each 0005 Export Packaging - Additional packaging (crating, barrier bag, desiccant, etc.) required for machines shipping outside the United States. 1 Each 0006 High-Intensity Lighting - Halogen lights provide bright, even illumination of the work area for part inspection, job setup and changeovers. Lights operate automatically when doors open and close, or can be activated manually. MNF: Haas OR EQUAL 1 Each 0007 Programmable Coolant Nozzle - A multi-position nozzle that automatically directs coolant precisely at the cutting tool. The position of the nozzle is controlled via the program, saving operator time by eliminating constant adjustments. The nozzle position may also be adjusted manually from the control pendant. MNF: Haas 1 Each 0008 Chip Auger - Auger style chip conveyor must autmatically remove chips from the machine while compressing them and wringing out the coolant. This system shall automatically reverse if a jam occurs. MNF: Haas OR EQUAL 1 Each 0009 8 spare M functions - Provide 8 additional M code outputs that may be used for activating probes, auxillary pumps, part loaders, etc. MNF: Haas 1 Each 0010 Early power failure detection module - Module must sense a power failure or severe drop in incoming line voltage and quickly bring all axis motion to a safe and controlled stop. The module must maintain power to the electronics long enough to activate brake motors and prevent uncommanded motion that could damage parts and tooling. Vertical axes are brought to a stop with the absolute minimum motion possible. The Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process will be used in this acquisition.
