- This is a Request for Quotation for a firm-fixed-price purchase order for a base year and four (4) option years for maintenance, inspection and refill of all CO2 systems cylinders and portable fire extinguishers in various locations and offices maintained by the Northern California Area Office. The Shasta Dam area in Shasta Lake, California is the main location, with sites in the areas of Keswick, Whiskeytown, Trinity Lake, Weaverville, and Lewiston. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, tools, and materials to perform services and certification of all CO2 systems cylinders and portable fire extinguishers. Such services shall generally include annual service of all portable extinguishers and semi-annual service of all CO2 Systems cylinders, including the repair, refilling, weighing, hydrostatic (hydro) testing, tagging and certification as required for both fire extinguishers and cylinders. All services, testing, and certifications provided under this contract shall be performed by an Inspector certified by the California Office of the State Fire Marshal (SFM) and shall conform to applicable State of California, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and Federal Standards and Codes, and in accordance with this Performance Work Statement. This requirement is being advertised under NAICS code 423990 (Fire extinguishers merchant wholesalers) with a size standard of 100 employees and is set aside 100% for small business. Quotations are due on August 27, 2014, 4PM Pacific Standard Time. All quotations shall be submitted via e-mail dseggay@usbr.gov. No quotations will be posted on Fed Connect or Fed BiZ Opps. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.
