Description
SOLE SOURCE NOTICE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Altus AFB has a requirement for five pneumatic kit upgrades to existing 65 ton axle jacks (P/N 65P10, NSN 1730-01-544-6535) used on KC-135 aircraft wheels. Pneumatic kits shall contain all required lines, fittings, and pump components that will fully interface with the existing 65 ton axle jacks. The pneumatic kits will reduce tire workload and eliminate the manual pumping of the jack. Malabar International has shown they are capable of providing these pneumatic kits by being the sole manufacturer for the 65 ton axle jacks and pneumatic kits. The 97th Contracting Flight intends to make award to Malabar International through their military sales representative, Integrated Procurement Technologies. Interested parties may e-mail Robert Burrier at robert.burrier.1@us.af.mil or Carol Loague at email carol.loague@us.af.mil or send a fax to (580) 481-5138, Attn: Robert Burrier.
