- Provisions and Clauses This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for brand name commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is 2014-74825 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Award will be made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable quotation. To be technically acceptable, the items quoted must be the BlueCat supplies / services identified below. Reasons for the specific brand-name include the level of compatibility required with existing systems to allow for immediate implementation, existing staff's specific product knowledge, and ability to use deployment tools already in the production network.
