- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Department of Interior, Oklahoma Field Station and Moore Field Station in Oklahoma intend to award a sole-source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for two Wild Horse and Burro (WH&B) chutes to Flying W Incorporated, 922 Highway 33 West, Watonga, Oklahoma 73772. The two chutes will be built in accordance with Flying W Incorporated's proprietary drawings which cannot be released by the BLM. However, through this requirement and FAR Clause 52.227-14(a) - Unlimited Rights, the BLM is requesting to purchase these drawings/specifications from Flying W Incorporated. This action is authorized by and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and FAR 5.203(a) - The notice must be published at least 15 days before issuance of a solicitation, or a proposed contract action the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 6.302. Any interested vendors other than the above, should submit all questions by 29 August 2014 by 5PM MST via email to the Contracting Officer and no questions shall be accepted after that time. Respondents at a minimum shall submit their qualifications and any other information considered pertinent to the requirement to the Contracting Officer no later than 8 September 2014 by 11AM MST. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship to the BLM. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award date is estimated to be around mid-September 2014. Respond to John P.
