- Line Item Specifications and Size Requirements This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N62786-14-T-0003 applies. Solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation. Quotes must be received by 12:00 p.m.(noon) EST 05 Sep 2014 to be considered. Fax or e-mail proposals are authorized and must be received no later than date and time for receipt of proposals at (207) 442-5305. E-mail address is Julie.Brillard@supshipba.navy.mil. The solicitation is restricted to 100 % Total Small Business responses only. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 315990 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76 and DFARS Change Notice (DPN) 20140805. The proposed acquisition is being processed utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Supervisor of Shipbuilding, C&R, USN Detachment in San Diego, CA has a requirement to provide the following Brand Name only items: LI 0001: Coat, Turnout, Mfr: Lion Apparel, P/N: CCHX-40 as per the attached /configuration/specifications for item specs and sizes required, Total Quantity: 48 Ea; LI 0002: Pant, Turnout, Mfr: Lion Apparel, P/N: PLBM-40 as per the attached configuration/specifications for item specs and sizes required, Total Quantity: 48 Ea; LI 0003 Suspenders, Mfr: Lion Apparel, P/N: SB640, Total Quantity: 48 Ea. Brand Name Justification is attached as well as the detailed item specifications and size requirements. Material is to be delivered to San Diego, CA. It is the Government's intent to make payment for any resulting order via use of the Governmentwide Credit Card. The Government anticipates making award to the vendor quote that best represents the best value to the Government price and other factors considered (technical capability and past performance are approximately equal to cost or price). The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions, which are incorporated herein by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items - the selected offeror must submit a completed copy of the listed representations and certifications; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, Deviation 2013-O0019.
