- "A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP <https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP> on the same issue date cited in the solicitation. Choose the RFP you wish to download. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Arobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com <http://www.adobe.com>. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The RFP-solicitation issue date 09/04/2014 and respond due date 09/26/14. This requirement was authorized by purchase request 0054184591 and solicit as Unrestricted for Sole Source. A Request for Proposal (RFP), SPE4A7-14-R-2868, issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1650-01-220-6758, Housing Hydraulic Accumulator, for 18 each. Item is Configuration controlled. Item is in accordance with Part Number-898731 requirements. The need arrival date (NAD) is 09/09/2014; with an estimated award date (EAD) on 10/04/2014. Based on the NAD (Need Award Date) - EAD (Estimated Award Date) = RDD (Required Delivery Date); the time yields a number for production delivery less than 60 days; therefore, for reliable delivery the acquisition specialist utilized a 25% reduction of the historical PLT (365 days) for delivery objective at 270 days total for production 18 each. Production to be delivers at FOB Point @ Origin with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. Progress Payments are not authorized for this purchase.
