Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO8 VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with CEPHEID 904 Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94089, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This action is for the procurement of services for THE FOLLOWINGS; EQUIPMENT INCLUDES: 1. MRSA REAGENT KITS FOR AN ESTIMATED 1000 TESTS PER MONTH using GENEXPERT equipment 2. COST PER TEST 4. COST PER TEST FOR CLOSTRIDIUM DIFFICILE TOXIN APX. PER MONTH No solicitation package is available. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to these requirements by August 22, 2014 10:00AM Caribbean/Puerto Rico. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
