- GENERAL This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; issued for market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested and accepted with this synopsis. THIS NOT A SOLICITATION FROM PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Public Building Services (PBS) Region 4 - Acquisition Management Division - Small Projects Branch intent to issue a Request for Information (RFI). This Sources Sought is not Request for Proposal/Quote or Bid. This Sources Sought is a market research tool to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources/data which will be used for planning purposes and to determine if potential sources exist to support Small Business set-aside under on the following socio-economic program: Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUB Zone. This information is not to be interpreted as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals and no award will be made as result of this notice. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The information obtained from submitted responses may be used in development of an acquisition strategy and future solicitation (s). Respondents will not be notified of the results of this source sought notice. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this Synopsis. Locations of performance as follows: Donald S. Russell Federal Courthouse, 201 Magnolia Street, Spartanburg SC 29306. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION Construction Services to include furnish and install ceiling finishes, plumbing fixture, new lighting power, rework mechanical system, door system, millwork and sprinkler renovation etc. Duration of project is 150 calendar days. Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Small Business Administration size standard of $33.5 million. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Experience on similar projects is required for submitting a response under the sources sought. Similar is defined as new construction, repair and alteration, or modernization of federally owned or federally leased government buildings and/or courthouses. SUBMISSION SHALL BE LIMITED TO TWO (2) SINGLE SIDED PAGES AND SHALL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: •1. CONTACT INFORMATION - Name, Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number and Email Address •2. BUSINESS TYPE - Indicate Business Type •3. CAPABILITY/QUALIFICATIONS - Include capability to execute "similar". Provide a brief description of the project, customer name (include point of contact), project duration, and dollar value of the project. Provide at least three (3) projects performed within the past (5) years. •4. BONDING CAPACITY - Construction bonding level per contract and aggregate bonding level, both expressed in dollars. ALL RESPONSES RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
