- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. The requirement is for Large Animal Kennel Modification Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332322. This requirement will be for a purchase order to include delivery of services to occur within 30 days of contract award. DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR), Fort Sam Houston, TX, has a requirement for: - LARGE ANIMAL KENNEL DIVIDER DOOR MODIFICATION (23 EACH) - LARGE ANIMAL KENNEL DIVIDER PANEL MODIFICATION (30 EACH) The services proposed by the contractor will be evaluated on how well they satisfy all of the requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement provided in the RFP. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments from the following website: https://www.fbo.gov/. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, all contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of Best Value, Trade-Off and any resulting contract will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price Award. POC for this action is the Contract Specialist, Mr. Terry Bice. Please submit all proposals and questions to terry.g.bice.civ@mail.mil. All proposals must be submitted by the offeror and received by the Contract Specialist no later than 3:00pm CDT on September 05, 2014 to be considered for award. No late proposals will be accepted.
