- Exhibit A CDRLs Attachment 1 Statement of Work Solicitation The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, RI intends to issue a FFP purchase order for 1 (ea.) Electrical Hull Penetrator (EHP) to be manufactured in accordance with Government drawings and specifications. Required delivery is 9 months after date of contract; FOB: Destination, Newport, RI. FAR Part 13 procedures will be used. This requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis. NAICS code is 334417, size standard is 1000 Employees. This requirement is for the production of an EHP which penetrates a SUBSAFE boundary and is therefore designated SUBSAFE LEVEL-I material which requires vendors to be certified and approved for such work. The drawings will not be exhibited on our website due to restricted distribution statements. In order to receive the drawings/specifications, the company must be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP). All requests for drawings/specifications must be sent to Lisa McKeon via email to: lisa.mckeon@navy.mil. The request must include the solicitation number, company's name, company's complete address, cage code, point of contact, telephone number, email address, required JCP registration number, and shipping account information. Drawings/specifications will be sent upon release of the solicitation. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject items. Additional information will be provided upon the release of solicitation number N66604-14-Q-2746, which is expected to be on or about 21 August 2014. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the solicitation. Technical Proposals are required. The Government intends to award to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value, considering technical factors, past performance, and price. The specific evaluation criteria will be outlined in the solicitation. All timely offers will be considered. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) ( https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ ) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
