VA786-14-Q-0338 Pre Solicitation Notice for Installation new 50 AMP sub-panel and LED Lighting For Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 East Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA 93203 100% Set Aside For Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) NAICS: 238210 RFP VA786-14-Q-0338 - GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision to install new 50 AMP sub-panel and LED lighting in building 3002 at the Bakersfield National Cemetery. Scope of Work: 1)Sub-panel to be fed from existing elect. Room in Bldg. 3001, using existing 1" or 2" Conduit. 2)All wiring from new 50 amp panel to new lighting to be in 3/4" conduit, min. 3)LED lighting locations, ceiling mounted, over each bay. 4)Led 18,000 Lumen model # IBH18LMVOLT manufactured by Lithonia or similar product. 5)One new 20 amp circuit in new 50 AMP panel to feed the new lighting. 6)Two new 20amp circuits in new 50AMP panel to feed the new outlets for electric vehicles the outlets will be located in the middle between each rollup door, the wire will be ran in ¾" to 1" conduit, min. 7)Pull existing wire from 1" conduit where plugs are located now. 8)All work in accordance with NEC. The contractor has 30-calendar days to complete this work from the notice to proceed. Submit materials list, sketch and schedule to perform work for approval before ordering materials. Contractor must hold a State Contractor's License and have work in the field for a minimum of five (5) years (contractor must provide evidence of this experience in proposal). Work will be accomplished between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30, Monday through Friday, except Federal Holidays. Only the Contracting Officer (CO) has the authority to make changes to the contract that affects price and/or time. All work will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and with Cemetery Director. Work will be conducted in such a manner to minimize the impact on the Cemetery operations. Appointments to visit the site shall be made in advance with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) by calling the number below. Contracting Officer's Representative (COR): Bill Barrett, Maintenance Worker Bakersfield National Cemetery 30338 East Bear Mountain Boulevard Arvin, CA 93203 Phone (661) 867-2250 Project will be for a 30 days. This acquisition is for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 is applicable. Please reference Solicitation Number RFP VA786-14-Q-0338 on remittances. An electronic solicitation will be available for download from www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about August 21, 2014. Responses to the solicitation are due by 1:30 p.m. EDT, September 5, 2014. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps.
