- B - SPECIAL STUDIES AND ANALYSIS NOT R&D FOR NOAA'S NATIONAL OCEAN SERVICE NOTICE DATE: AUGUST 21, 2014 Notice Type: Pre-solicitation NAICS: 541712 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (Except Biotechnology) Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, VA 23510 The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of the National Ocean Service is soliciting a for Synoptic Climatological Assessment of Atmospheric Impacts on Short-term Sea Level Variability and its Impact along the US Atlantic Coast. Provide all labor and materials for required maintenance in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541712, which has a size standard of 500 in number of employees. Solicitation number EA133C-14-RQ-1106 will be issued August 21, 2014 and will close August 29, 2014. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is September 15, 2014 through September 14, 2015. Any pre-bid questions are strongly encouraged. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors specified in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about September 10, 2014. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted).
