Updated CBA NOTE: Response Date extended to 27 August 2014, 4:00pm. Updated CBA attached. Period of Performance is as follows: Basic Year: 1 March 2015 - 28 February 2016 Option I: 1 March 2016 - 28 February 2017 Option II: 1 March 2017 - 28 February 2018 Option III: 1 March 2018 - 28 February 2019 Option IV: 1 March 2019 - 28 February 2020 This pre-solicitation notice is issued in anticipation of a Firm Fixed Price type contract for Transient Alert Services at Robins AFB, Ga. This acqusition will be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The Government anticipates award of a basic year and four one-year options and one 6 month option to extend. This procurement will use Performance Price Trade-Off strategy. Proposed estimated Period of Performance is as follows. Basic Year: 1 March 2015 - 28 February 2016 Option I: 1 March 2016 - 28 February 2017 Option II: 1 March 2017 - 28 February 2018 Option III: 1 March 2018 - 28 February 2019 Option IV: 1 March 2019 - 28 February 2020 Specific proposal preparation instructions and evaluation basis for award will be detailed in the RFP. This requirement includes but is not limited to: Aircraft arrival, processing and departure services; Support for In-Flight Emergencies (IFE) and transient aircraft ground emergencies; Maintenance of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Contractors may be required to perform the following tasks: aircraft ground handling; follow-me service, marshaling, installing safety pins, inspecting brakes, placing tire chocks, installing protective covers, grounding aircraft, and placement of ladders/air stairs. If necessary, the contractor shall assist aircrew with refuel and lavatory cart service (avg 15 aircraft per year) and perform minor maintenance on all trainsient aircraft. This requirement also requires maintenance of ground support equipment used in conjunction with daily duties.
