- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-2 for other than full and open competition and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground - Tenant Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen, Maryland, 21005 has a requirement to procure Subscription Service to Peer to Peer Sustainable Hospital Information Exchange and Training. Period of Performance: 1 year from date of award plus two (2) option years Contractor shall provide yearly membership to include: -Direct expert consulting in the implementation of sustainable programs including assessment, data collection, benchmarking and goal setting for medical treatment facilities; -Webinar subscription for training seminars in both the environmental Initiative and Green building Series for hospitals; -Subscription to members-only publications. -Access to members-only online tools and resources, including the Green Team Guide; -Discounts on registration fees to the annual Clean Med Conference; -Eligibility for Practice Green health Environmental Excellence Awards. - The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Practice Greenhealth. Practice Greenhealth is the only known source of US-focused peer to peer sustainable hospital information exchange and training. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 813312 and the Business Size Standard is $15 million. All responses received within seven (7) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Thursday, August 28, 2014. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
