- DFARS Clause 252.209-7993 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial supply and/or service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F2VWCG4225AW01. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses. The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS), MacDill AFB, Florida, requires the following: Mobile Paging System (Brand Name or Equal Netpage). DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Mobile Paging System (Brand Name or Equal Netpage). CLIN 0001 - (2 ea) NPUTC, Netpage Unlimited Package includes: (1) Netpage Unlimited Software Disc, (5) E467 Alpha-Numeric Pagers, (10) User Licenses, (1) TX-TC Transmit Controller CLIN 0002 - (2 ea) NPU-Training, 1-Hour Setup and Training via Telephone and Web Conference (Must be scheduled) CLIN 0003 - (190 ea) RX-E467, 4-Line Alpha-Numeric Staff Pager-Battery Operated CLIN 0004 - (180 ea) NPU-User, Netpage Unlimited User License CLIN 0005 - (2 ea) TX-TC, Transmit Controller CLIN 0006 - (10 ea) TX-74POC REP, UHF Signal Repeater CLIN 0007 - (2 ea) FedEx Standard Overnight CLIN 1004 - (180 ea) Option Year One - NPU-User, Netpage Unlimited User License CLIN 2004 - (180 ea) Option Year Two - NPU-User, Netpage Unlimited User License All part numbers are referencing Netpage and used for description purposes only to help with identifying an "Or Equal" product **Complete attached DFARS 252.209-7993 and submit with your quote. As prescribed in 5301-9103, insert the following clause: OMBUDSMAN (APR 2014) (a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the interested party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution.
