Description

1.An instructor certified to the ANSI/ASSE Z359.2 Standard will provide 40 hours of Competent Person for Fall Protection instruction for up to 10 personnel of the Navy Computers and Telecommunications Station Sicily. 2.Instruction will take place at NRTF Niscemi Base Militare Americana, Strada Vicinale Fonteape Martelluzzo, Niscemi, Italy 93015. 3.Delivery of instruction will be in four (4) 10-hour days. 4.Training must conform to ANSI Z490.1-2009 and be in accordance with Operations Navy Instruction 5100.23 (series) and the Department of the Navy Fall Protection Guide for Ashore Facilities. The required course syllabus for Fall Protection Training for Competent Persons is included in the Guide for Ashore Facilities under Appendix F. See also Table 6.2 of the Guide for Ashore Facilities for additional information. 5.The objective of the instruction is certification of all students who successfully complete the course and test(s). 6.The contractor will provide students with all training manuals, handouts, examinations and other course material.
